b. THANK YOU to Dan Johnson, Brian Burns, and Chrissy Knapp, who invested hundreds of hours in their campaigns for an inclusive Orangetown
c. THANK YOU to this network, for reaching out to your networks, writing postcards, going door-to-door, and making calls up to the last minute. Thank you for *showing up* While all our DEIB candidates may not have won, we did expand our network and our foundation for inclusive leadership.

3. November is National American Indian Heritage Month
a. Resources from NYC DOE; exhibits, events, readings for kids
b. The New York National Museum of the American Indian is great for all ages and free.
c. Check out Emily Bowen Cohen’s graphic novel for tweens/teens, Two Tribes. Bohen Cohen is of Jewish and Muscogee heritage and in this book reflects on “the deep love that comes with being part of two vibrant tribes.”
